No Doubt: Signs of A True Conversion I JOHN 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1.A True Believer Has a New Awareness of Sin ENTICING.SPIRITS 95 I said the other night about the hog, the sinner. A sinner's a sinner; don't try to reform him. Don't try to tell him this, that, or the other. He's a sinner to begin with. He's a pig to begin with. He don't know no different. If he goes to the movies, and he goes on Sunday, and he goes to ball games, and he does all these things; he's a sinner to begin with. His nature's like a hog. The old hog stick his nose down in the manure pile and eat all the grains out of it and everything. You can't blame him; he's a hog. That's the way with sinners. ADOPTION.2 104 "Sins," did you notice, God don't condemn a sinner for sinning? He condemns him for being a sinner. If a sinner smokes a cigar, He don't condemn him for it; he's a sinner anyhow. LEADERSHIP 95 Well, that's the same way now. And our ill ways, the Holy Spirit just takes His flight and goes away. It's got to have the same nature. The bird of the Heavens, the dove; the meekest animal on earth, the lamb; they can agree together. And when the Holy Spirit comes upon us and makes us new creatures, then He can lead us. CHURCH.AGE.BOOK 293-2 Israel used to take the red heifer and sacrifice her upon the altar for the remission of sins. For a year the sins of the guilty one was covered. But that covering could not take away the desire for sin. It was not a perfect offering. It was a shadow until the real came along. JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME 10 We have joy, such a joy comes over our hearts to know that we have passed from death unto Life, because we love the brethren. And our spirit bears record with God's Spirit that we're sons and daughters of God. And what a joy we have doing that. THE.CHURCH.AND.ITS.CONDITION And if we're going to have a understanding of God, it must come out of God's Word, for the Word is what God gave us to feed our hungry souls. The Holy Spirit is sent from God to take the Word of God and to give It to us as we have need. Now, I'm so glad that God made a provision like that, that He would feed us. TRYING.TO.DO.GOD.A.SERVICE 194 It's not our wills to know when You will come. It's our will, Lord, to keep humble till You do come, and walk with You. It's our desire for You to just let Yourself be known, once in a while, Father, among us, that we can see that we're still walking with You. 195 Forgive us of our past sins. 6. A New Believer Has a New Power LUKE 24:46-49 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. CHRISTIANITY.VERSUS.IDOLATRY The impossible, the paradox, that the things unsearchable. Now, remember, each one of you has power in Christ. You don't have power; you have authority. JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME.YESTERDAY 21 Almighty God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who raised Him up from the dead and has kept Him alive all these years...
