Political summary Before the accession of queen Elizabeth, there had been the darkness in England in all aspects of English life. Queen Elizabeth removed all the darkness aroused from the different issues of the age whether of the religious or of political. In the word of Milton about England, he coined saying about England, a noble an puissant nation, rousing herself, like a strong man after sleep, and shaking her invincible locks.
Patriotism as the prime concern of the Queen In the age of Elizabethan, queen had the prime concern over only England. She dedicated herself for England and the greatness of England as she, with all her vanity and inconsistency, steadily loved England and England s greatness. Nationalism is believed as the life fluid in her flowing throughout the age .
Patriotism as the prime concern of the Queen she inspired all her people with the unbounded patriotism which exults in Shakespeare, and with the personal devotion. This impression of devotion had been found in in the Faery Queen.
Characteristics of the Elizabethan age The constant subject of turbulence everywhere had been the religion intolerance and wherever religious tolerance was made easy in other word we can say who favored the issue, been favorite of the people. This was the case with queen Elizabeth. Despite this Upon her accession Elizabeth found the whole kingdom divided against itself; the North was largely Catholic, while the southern counties were as strongly Protestant.
