Informing Health Policy and Practice for School Improvement in Wales
Development and evaluation of the Welsh Network of Healthy School Schemes, workforce development, knowledge mobilization, and population health surveillance are key components of informing health policy and influencing practice in schools in Wales. The School Health Research Network plays a vital role in understanding trends, prioritizing areas for support, and refining thematic priorities through pupil surveys. Workforce development focuses on using research evidence to influence action priorities, understanding trends, and planning interventions in schools.
