5 5 Reflection Groups Findings: Strengths Across the Programs: All programs follow curriculum that addresses Expanded Core and the Massachusetts Frameworks Student Programs are individualized Cultural Differences are highly valued among students, their families and staff Work Experience Programs are highly regarded Each Program has an assessment process to drive the program planning Resources including materials are available IT & AT in support of programs Extracurricular Activities School and Community relationship is strong

26 26 KEY COMMENTS FROM PARENTS AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Tech Center A mission that involves more academic emphasis in Lower School & truly challenges kids in math and science. They need more opportunities for 21stcentury learning in these areas as their peers in other schools Stronger advocacy with school districts on behalf of students and listening to parent concerns regarding classroom placement Communication with families on changes occurring at the school Minimize turnover of staff and maintain a consistent group of professionals.
