Steven Oliver is an Indigenous poet and rapper, actor, singer,
dancer and writer.  He was the creative force behind the
highly successful ABC show, ‘Black Comedy’.  Oliver is known
for his ability to use creative form in his advocacy for social
change.
 
He shares his Indigenous identity through many forms of
storytelling.  ‘Real’ challenges many of the social narratives that
have been constructed about in light of what it means to be a
‘true’ or ‘real’ Aboriginal.
