  1. KYTC D3 Incident Mgt Meeting Monday 12/3/2012

  2. After Action Review I-65 Hart Co just north of Barren / Hart line Saturday Oct. 27th Tractor trailer fire, mixed cargo, started in rear wheel area and involved entire trailer. Incident time 07:18 hrs, cleared & all lanes open 21:55 NB traffic stopped 4 hrs / SB traffic stopped 8.5 hrs / Time to clear 14+ hrs. AAR hosted by KYTC at Cave City Convention Center Thursday Nov. 1stwith all responding agencies invited.

  3. Incident Review Tuesday 9/18/2012 I 65 MP 9.4 12:38 am TOC Status - I 65 at the 9.4 MM NB will be closed for approx two hours due to a tractor trailer on fire. An updated message will follow when lanes are open. Toc Status 2:00 AM Roadway Opened

  4. Incident Review Friday 11/9/2012 I 65 NB 30 MM 2:00pm 2:05 pm - Initial TOC Status - I-65 SB around the 30mm is blocked at this time with an injury crash. SAFE Unit will advise further. Estimated Duration : 1.5 hr Mike Thomas and a KSP trooper were assisting a SV crash or disabled vehicle along the inner wall and a semi slammed into another vehicle within 10 feet of them 3:02 pm - TOC per KSP the incident is NB not SB as initially reported to the TOC, and the roadway will be blocked for less than an hour for clean up of debris Message boards I 65 NB at MP 0 and MP 17 were activated Crash Ahead MP 30 Expect Delays

  5. Incident Review 11/25/2012 I 65 SB 48 MM TOC status 3:39 pm - Barren Co EMA reported a multivehicle car crash on I-65 at the 48mm SB. Both lanes are blocked at this time. Duration 1-2 hours. TOC status 4:08 pm One Lane Open TOC status/Patrick Compton All Clear

  6. D3/D4 Detour Plan Since the I-65 widening between Horse Cave and Cave City will not be completed for another few years, it was decided the main focus should be on that section. The section from Cave City to the Barren/Hart Co line should be finished early next year with the other section north of there from Barren/Hart Co. line to Horse Cave running into 2014. Basically, it was decided that if there is a complete closure both NB and SB directions on I-65 between Horse Cave and Cave City (like the recent HazMat situation)

  10. Cave City Christmas Parade Saturday December 8th5:00 pm Route : Parade entries will assemble in the Cave City Convention Center parking lot. The parade will leave the parking lot, continue through downtown on Broadway (KY 70) and end in the parking lot of the Cave City Baptist Church located at the intersection of Highways 31-W & 70.

  11. Conclusions Next meeting sometime in February At the last meeting it was mentioned that some would like to start meeting in the afternoon Tuesdays at 1pm central?
