The Democrats are in a good position to retain control of the House in the
fall. With a one seat majority in the Senate, the Republicans will be
challenged to do the same. Here are the three races that may decide control
of the Senate:

2019 Policy Priorities
Streamline behavioral health facility licensure and
designation;
Increase access to SUD services;
Monitor the roll-out of ACC Phase;
Continue to decriminalize mental health and SUDs;
Expand opportunities for behavioral health workforce
recruitment and retention;
Expand community-based restoration services for
individuals who have been found incompetent to proceed;
and
Advance Mental Health First Aid.
Pursue a targeted rate increase for state-contracted
community behavioral health providers;
Decrease funding fragmentation;
Increase flexible funding for community providers;
Increase SB-202 funding to expand SUD service
capacity; and
Seek additional funding to expand access to Mental
Health First Aid training statewide.
