  3. EA Paper 2: World History Topics 25% of total History grade 1 hours 30 minutes 2 essays 12 topics (2 questions/each) MUST answer two from DIFFERENT topics! Causes, Practices & Effects of 20th Century Wars The Cold War As specific and detailed as possible!!! A thesis, transitions, evidence, and analysis are expected Outline is key! Pay attention to the wording answer the question

EA Paper 3: History of the Americas 35% of IB History grade 2 hours The EA3 paper for each regional option will consist of 36 questions, consisting of two essay questions on each of the 18 sections specified. Candidate will write three essay responses 10) Emergence of the Americas in Global Affairs 13) World War II in the Americas (& 16 - The Cold War) 17) Civil Rights and Social Movements You are NOT required to select prompts within our area of focus, but choose wisely!

Summarize four things you need to demonstrate in EA2 in order to reach the top mark band? 2. Summarize four things you need to demonstrate in EA3 in order to reach the top mark band? 3. What do the descriptors for EA s 2 & 3 have in common? 4. The majority of students score in the 7-9 mark band .why do you think this is?

Depending on the question, you may integrate counter-arguments into your body paragraphs or include them in one separate paragraph Conclusion Re-state thesis Argue to a reasoned conclusion Answer the question clearly!
