How to Discover Books Using Destiny in Guilford County Schools
Guilford County School students can access a wide range of books, including eBooks, through Destiny, the Media Center catalog. Browsing is currently not allowed, but students can put books on hold and manage checkouts online. Students can log in using their ID number and birthday, search for books by topics or genres, and find additional resources for research. NC Kids Digital Library is also available for digital resources.

How do I find a book to read? Using Destiny
Destiny is the Media Center catalog +Destiny is a database of books from the Media Center as well as eBooks you can read. +Most eBooks are shared with all Guilford County Schools. +You can find links to Destiny on GCS devices, the KMS Library Media Center Canvas course, and on the Kernodle website home page.
Browsing in the Media Center is not allowed at this time. You can use Destiny to put Media Center books on hold. They will be delivered to your ELA teacher. Remote students will be able to pick up books on hold from the school office.

Holds +Find a book you want select hold. +Max holds 3 books +Mrs. King has paper hold requests forms available since you may not have access to Destiny at school. +Ask your teacher.
