  5. Many of Judahs kings were wicked too.

  7. Hezekiahs father Ahaz was a wicked man who burnt sacrifices to Baal and shut up the Temple of God in Jerusalem.

  10. Hezekiah became king when he was 25 years old.

  17. Now the people could worship God. Hezekiah organised an opening ceremony with sacrifices, music, singing and prayers.

  20. Because the people were too busy cleaning out the Temple in the first month, God allowed them to keep the Passover feast in the second month.

  21. King Hezekiah wrote letters inviting everyone to come to Jerusalem for the Passover.

  22. Posts (messengers or runners) went throughout all Israel and Judah, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south.

  23. Many in Israel laughed and refused to come. But some willingly made the journey to Jerusalem.

  24. In Judah everyone gladly accepted the king s invitation.

  25. A huge crowd gathered in the city. They threw out any altars to idols.

  26. They kept the feast for 7 days with great gladness.

  27. The Levites and priests sang hymns and played music. The Levites taught the good knowledge of the LORD

  28. They were so happy that they all agreed to stay another 7 +7days

  29. So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there was not the like in Jerusalem.

  30. And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God. 2 Chronicles 31:20

  31. Hezekiah did every work with all his heart.
