  1. The word blessed means to be happy, with Divine favor Blessed is plural in Hebrew = happinesses, blessednesses Being happy with Divine favor is possible now and desirable in eternity

  2. There will be ungodly/wicked who are irreverent toward God They will have counsel, advice, plans and purposes against God There will be sinners who habitually and deliberately transgress God s law They will take a path that is in clear violation of God s will and leads to sin There will be scornful/scoffers who mock righteousness and those committed to it They will settle down in a seat of hardened rebellion against God

  3. Sin is progressive It starts with listening and being interested DO NOT entertain the thought of sin or walk in any approval of it It leads to participating and engaging DO NOT keep company with or stand by or for those who do It culminates in yielding and joining DO not settle into a new habit and sit in a wicked manner of life Refuse to follow the ungodly standard Avoid taking that first step in the wrong direction

  4. Seek proper counsel from the proper source follow His standard (2 Cor. 5:7; Heb. 11:6) Delight in the law of the Lord, enjoying it so much that it is your preferred activity Meditate on it continually: reading, studying, loving, thinking, memorizing (Prov. 23:7) The more you learn it, the more you ll love it. The more you love it, the more you ll live it. The more you live it, the more you ll tell it.

  5. A tree is firmly grounded and unyielding in stability Being planted is a deliberate choice with purpose (i.e., serving God) Planted by rivers of water ensures continually nourished, with roots constantly fed and deeply sustained by the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:17) Know where your strength is never move, shift or abandon for any reason

  6. A trees reason for being is to be fruitful (Matt. 21:19 + John 15:1-2; Rom. 7:4) The righteous must be active workers, spreading the seed of the gospel (1 Cor. 3:6-9) and producing fruits of good works (Eph. 2:10) The righteous are an ever-green tree, always in season for Lord (not seasonal) The leaf of the righteous is always alive it does not wither or fade in beauty The work of the righteous always prospers because of where he s planted Putting first things first always brings blessing (Matt. 6:33) Doing things God s way always ensures success/good days (1 Pet. 3:10-12)

  7. The Lord is aware of the way of the wicked They ignore His will and disdain His existence They are the ones who walk, stand and sit in sinful living They shall not prosper, now or in eternity, anymore than useless chaff will They shall not stand acquitted or justified at the judgment They shall not dwell in heaven, among the righteous (Rev. 21:27; 22:15; Gal 5:19-21) They shall perish

  8. The Lord is aware of the way of the wicked The Lord approves the way of the righteous He knows those who are His (2 Tim. 2:19) He knows their path, their challenges, their victories and successes He watches over them as His own special children He is looking forward to approving His own when they stand on the day of judgment for they alone are prepared for judgment, and they alone will be rewarded He has a prepared a place wherein righteousness dwells (2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 22:14) Remember that! Focus on that! STAND FIRM IN THAT!

  9. Believe Jesus is Gods Son John 8:24 Repent of your sins and turn to God Luke 13:3 Confess your faith in Jesus Christ Matthew 10:32 Be immersed into Christ Romans 6:3 God will forgive all of your sins Acts 2:38 God will add you to His church Acts 2:47 God will enroll you in heaven Hebrews 12:23 Stand firm and live faithfully to the Lord Revelation 2:10 If you ve strayed, repent and turn away from your sins Acts 8:22 If you ve strayed, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness 1 John 1:9
