Changes at individual level Since I started appreciating gender equality I have treated my wife with a lot of respect and love. I also have shown a lot of respect for all women and I desire that every men behaves the same way. I am father to two boys and one girl. Since I started appreciating gender equality there is equal division of labour at my house. I have trained by sons to do household duties that are usually done by girls. My daughter also does the same
Gender equality challenges At times our local authority finances are not adequate for conducting awareness campaigns. Due to the current economic situation gathering people without providing anything to them is a challenge and this led to the reduction of people attending meetings.
Next steps To mobilize funds from the community more workshops as per council gender action More awareness campaigns will be done to assist the community to improve on health and hygiene. This will result in an inclusive community with educated men and women. To encourage women to participate in politics especially in next year elections.
