Team Travel Team Travel This is a Biz Trip 1. Act and look like a Pro mature, fun, purposeful (not a holiday trip) like you are traveling to work and focused on getting things done (the right way) = Grow up and understand the moment 2. Be Respectful understand that everyone likes and needs to prepare differently, be respectful of those differences. Be respectful to all you interact with (coaching & support staff + driver + stops + opponent and their facility) 3. Be in the Moment focused on the game, but balanced (not too cool, but confident and positive). Even Keel no highs or lows
Team Principles Team Principles Pre Game Principles 1. Be the toughest Team both physically and mentally (must have both focused on the moment). Once you set foot off the bus each persons mindset must be focused on the task at hand = BE A PRO! 2. Believe you will be Successful everyone must 100% believe you have earned the right to be successful (through hard work and preparation). Cool confidence with a pinch of humility = BE A PRO! 3. Never Give Up there will be a moment in the game where your spirit-hope can be broken = NEVER let them think it will (through your actions and body language). There also will be a moment when you can break your opponent sense it + seize it + crush it = BE A PRO!
Team Mindset Team Mindset Game Mindset 1. Emotion + Cool Former HFC, Jim Scott: football is about emotion bring it all day and good things happen. Combine that emotion with cool confidence- which is REAL Confidence. If you have that, nothing can break you = BE A PRO! 2. Fun have fun from the very moment you take the field for warmups to when you leave celebrate within (do not engage with the opponent). Let your opponent see you having fun no matter if things are going bad or good that will break anyone s spirit or hope = BE A PRO! 3. Finish play like a champion play with class play with respect and most importantly, enjoy the moment it is a great game = FINISH LIKE A PRO!
