Monster Milkshakes! Below are some monsters with their milkshakes. Some of them have been drinking their milkshake already! I will go through the language we would use to describe how much milkshake the monster has left in their glass.
Can you point to the correct milkshake? Over the next few slides, I will talk to you about how full the monster wants their glass. It s your job to point to the glass you think I am describing! I like to have a milkshake when the glass is full up to the top!
Well done! This milkshake glass is full!
Can you point to the correct milkshake? Point to the glass the monster is describing! Oh no!! My glass is empty. I need to buy another milkshake!
Well done! This milkshake glass is empty!
Can you point to the correct milkshake? Point to the glass the monster is describing! Cor! I was so thirsty I drank half of my milkshake in one go!!

When they have done this, mix up the labels. Can they put the correct cup with the correct label? (They may need help to read the labels.) Can they find a container which holds more than their full cup? How can they check? Can they find a container which holds less? How can they check?
