  1. From Alone To Together Ephesians 2:14-22

  2. The LORD God said, It is not good for the man [or any person] to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. Genesis 2:18

  3. After this [in Heaven] I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of God s throne and before Jesus, the Lamb. . . And they were shouting with a great roar, Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from Jesus, the Lamb! Revelations 7:9-10

  4. For Jesus himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations . His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace Ephesians 2:14-15

  5. and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Ephesians 2:16-18

  6. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God s people and members of God s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:19-20

  7. In Jesus the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:21-22

  8. You go from alone to together when: Your cornerstone is Jesus (v20) you are . . . members of God s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

  9. You go from alone to together when: Your language is His Word (v20) you are . . . members of God s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

  10. You go from alone to together when: Your bond is His Spirit (v18) For through Jesus we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

  11. You go from alone to together when: Your family is His People (v19) Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God s people and members of God s household

  12. You go from alone to together when: Your focus is His Cross (v16) His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

  13. In Jesus the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
