Fines issued for 2 inpatient and 3 ambulatory delinquent facilities. Data submission for 2018, Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 are currently ongoing. Quarter 3 2018 certification closes February 28. Discharge Data Collection and Modernization Planning A legislative budget request (LBR) to procure a new data collection system is in the Governor s budget plan for the 2019 session.

Encounter Notification Service (ENS): Over 95% of all acute care beds in Florida are data sources on ENS; adding Long-Term and Post-Acute Care facilities Subscribers are now receiving over 1.2 million alerts per month on over 8 Million patients. Subscribers include: - Over 50 hospitals - 46 provider groups (including Community Health Centers & other primary care & specialty practices) - 23 Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) - 16 health plans (including all Medicaid Managed Care plans) Florida HIE now supporting Syndromic Surveillance efforts at DOH Partnered with DOH to include Medicaid data in emPOWER system to track electricity- dependent beneficiaries for preparedness and management in emergencies EHR Incentive Program Stage 3 of Meaningful Use mandatory for 2019 HIE Legal Workgroup held on January 25, 2019
