  8. EXAMPLE A ROBBERY AT MY HOUSE On Saturday 11thAugust 2020, my friend Mary and I were returning home from an outing at a discotheque when I saw two men jump out of my bedroom window and ran off into the night. The incident happened around 1 in the night. I couldn t see the men clearly due to the dim outdoor bulbs placed around the house. The two men were dressed in black. They had black jeans, a T-shirt and leather jackets with the initials 2 pac on the back. They also had caterpillar boots and wore black scarves on their heads. One of them had a nose ring. They got into the house through the back door. They broke the door handle to get inside the house. Apparently when they heard us coming towards the house, they opened the window and jumped out to escape. They took a TV flat screen, laptop, two thousand rupees and my newly acquired Nike Boots and gold chain. Fortunately no one got injured during the incident. I called the police immediately to inform them about the incident. After about half an hour, the police and the CID arrived and combed the house for any finger prints and evidence to help trace the identities of the culprits. They also recorded a statement.
