William Golding’s "Lord of the Flies" is a powerful allegorical novel that delves into human nature, society, and the struggle between civilization and savagery. Set in the aftermath of WWII, the story follows a group of boys stranded on an uninhabited island, each representing different facets of humanity. Through rich symbolism, literary techniques, and deep character analyses, the novel masterfully explores themes of civilization, innocence, and the inherent evil within us all.
