How sneaky of Mr Carter and the others to break into the tomb early in the last chapter! I m glad Lil caught them but she was good to return to the main mission, finding Kyky s other tomb. It s a dangerous path though, and at the end of the last chapter they spotted some guards ahead

Here are the answers I would give the questions set. I have written my answer in blue and my explanation of how I know think this is in green. 1. How do you find east? To find east you look at the stars. Oz says this on Page 4. 2. How does Lil know she s found the correct place? The feelings she had. Described on page 7. 3. Why won t Lil let Oz go into the tomb? Lil won t let Oz go into the tomb because he is the youngest and she knows Tulip would go beserk (really cross) if anything happened to him. Page 8 4. Why do you think Lil chose to give the jar to Pepe? I think Lil gave the jar to Pepe as she felt like it belonged to him as this was his country. Page 10 5. How could the children see inside the room? The jar was giving off a low, gold light. Page 13 6. What else was in the tomb? Two mummified bodies. Page 16 7. How did you feel when the tomb filled with sun? When the tomb filled with sun, I felt excited because it felt like something magical was happening. My own ideas and my knowledge of the story.
