  1. Friday 19thMarch 2021 Can I identify and put into practice some of the skills of friendship?

  2. Learning outcomes You will know how to negotiate in conflict situations to try and find a win-win solution.

  3. Lets have a look at the Jigsaw Charter. At the end of each lesson you need to respond to it.

  4. Vocabulary Conflict Resolution Problem Solving Friendship Win-win

  5. Lets calm our minds to feel peaceful and learn better.

  6. Starter: Talk with a partner: Who is your friend? What qualities make them a good friend?

  7. Discussion: Lets talk about a time when we have had a conflict with a friend what can we do to overcome this? Here is a video of some birds-good teamwork and bad teamwork YouTube Pause at 1.50sec Who is wrong? Why do you think they were mean to that one bird? Is it because they are different? Can any of you think of a resolution to their problem? Why is it important to be a good friend to everyone?

  8. Task Here is a jigsaw piece you are going to draw a picture of you and your friends and write down an idea about how you can be a good friend. We will make a collage of these pieces and stick them into our new PSHE books.

  9. Plenary Let s evaluate your work.
