You should to see in Tbilisi Metekhi Bridge All bridges in the centre of Tbilisi are fairly new, the oldest is Metekhi Bridge which stands on the place where first wooden bridge across the Mtkvari in Tbilisi was build in 1821. Later replaced by a metal one in 1870. The present bridge built in the 1950s. Narikala Fortress The initial fortress inside the gates was ruined after an explosion in year 1827. The current church was built in 20th century as a replica of Metekhi Church. Mother of Georgia (Kartlis Deda) A statue of a woman holding sword in one hand and wine vessel in another was built in soviet times and symbolizes Georgian mother s readiness to welcome guests (with wine) and fight the enemies (with sword).

Kakheti cradle of Wine Kakheti is a region in eastern Georgia consisting from the historical province of Kakheti and the small, mountainous province of Tusheti. Telavi is its capital.
