  1. CATALINA ISLAND FIELD TRIP March 7th- 10th

Reporting to the bus & stops along the way Check in at the bus: In front of Administration Building No later than 10:45 pm on Thursday March 8th If there is a delay for any reason contact me at: 480-650-9177 We will be making 2 stops along the way 1st stop will be at a truck stop 2nd is at McDonalds once we get near port We will be making 1 stop on the way back In Blythe for dinner Need to bring money if you want to get something to eat and or drink

  3. Leave on a ferry which is next to the Queen Mary ship CHECK-IN: 8:30 am This is our camp ARRIVAL: ~11:30 am No food until dinner so pack a sack lunch

  4. RETURN TRIP Leave on the ferry from camp on Sunday at 12:00 pm Lunch will be provided Arrive back on the mainland at ~3:00 pm

  5. WHEN WE ARRIVE AT CIMI Brief introduction: Rules Expectations Duties Then we go into our 1st activity

  6. SOME EXPECTATIONS AND RULES You will participate in all activities There will be swimming involved so make sure you will be ready for this. You are expected to clean up after yourselves. There are set times for everything including eating, set-up, & clean-up; you must be on time. Be respectful and courteous to everyone If you are told not do go somewhere or not to do something don t (you don t want to see my dark side)

  7. Water Conservation The camp is low on water supply so . They are asking you to take only one shower per day or less. Bring a water bottle with you and bring it when in the dining hall so you are not tossing any water away.

  8. OUR ACTIVITIES WHILE AT CMI 2 SNORKELS 1 DAY SNORKELS 1 NIGHT SNORKEL 2 THREE HOUR LABS FISH-SHARK-ALGAE TERRESTRIAL LAB AND HIKE SQUID DISSECTION TEAM BUILDING

  10. CIMI STORE AT CAMP CMI Store There is a store to buy t-shirts and sweatshirts If interested bring money for this

  11. PERMISSION SLIPS AND MEDICAL FORMS - if you have asthma you will be required to bring your inhaler or they will not let you snorkel (no exceptions) - if you have allergies that require an epi-pen you will need to have that with you at all times.

  12. If parents need to reach their little darlings . EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBER ONLY 310-510-1622 There is no cell service at camp Students will be able to use their phones when they get back on the mainland.
