LEADERSHIP Prayerfully identify leaders who are spirit filled, mature, passionate and knowledgeable Train leaders to understand the ministry Have a vision for the ministry and cast it Don t only preach or teach. Model Christlikeness for them Footprints are much easier to follow than blueprints Visit them at home and in School Follow-up on them Let them know that you are concerned about their well being Attend or delegate others to attend special events like graduation, funeral etc. ESSENTIAL NOTES FOR MINISTRY TO TEENS

ESSENTIAL NOTES FOR MINISTRY TO TEENS DISCIPLESHIP The success of any church ministry must be evaluated on how well it is leading them to a deeper commitment to Christ Consistent Personal daily devotion should be taught and modelled Engage in periodic fasting and prayer exercises Help them develop a spiritual timetable Bible studies and Bible reading clubs Holy Spirit baptism and impartation of Spiritual Gifts Discipleship should be at the core of this ministry

The role of parents in this ministry cannot be over emphasized MINISTRY TO PARENTS OF TEENAGERS Hold periodic meetings with parents of teens to let them know the importance of the ministry Help parents to get committed to monitoring the progress of their teenagers Hold Teen-Parent interactive sessions
