They must first be tested; and then if there is
nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
PURPOSE OF THE TEST

1.
To assess and
EXAMINE

the
true inner attitudes
and
motives
 of those whom He calls.
(1 Timothy 3:10)
2.
To
SORT OUT
those who are
REALLY CALLED
by God.
3.
To
EQUIP
 those whom God
CALLED
 with
spiritual
UNDERSTANDING
 needed to help
people.

PURPOSE OF THE TEST

Testing is built in into the system of faith. It is not
a demonic activity. Testing of your faith is God’s
pre-requisite for trusting you. He will never trust
someone whom He never tested.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I PASS THROUGH THE TEST
OF PROMOTION?

Do you want to grow as Christian?
Do you want an effective ministry?
Do you want to extend God’s kingdom?

THE TEST OF PROMOTION

In our age, fear of
FAILURE
 is very strong.

Unless a person is walking in the
SPIRIT
,
he may unconsciously sabotage the
SUCCESS
of his Christian walk or his ministry.

DEEP IN HIS INNER MAN:

1.
He may believe that he does not
DESERVE
promotion.
2.
He may fear that
SUCCESS
 brings with it a
standard of faith that he cannot
SUSTAIN
 for
long.
3.
He may simply fear
FAILURE
 so strongly that he
FOCUSES
on trying to avoid failure rather than
trying to succeed in serving God and His church.

WHY DO WE STUDY THE TEST OF PROMOTION?

1.
All of the other tests directly
AFFECT
 this one.
2.
It is one of the most
DIFFICULT
 of all tests to
pass.
3.
It is one of the most frequent causes of
frustration in younger ministries.

DEFINITION:

When a person finds himself not
MOVING
FORWARD
in ministry of the church, as he expects
he should, he is in the Test of Promotion.

The Test of Promotion in Christian ministry is designed to assess and examine the attitudes, motives, and true inner beliefs of individuals called by God. It serves to identify those truly called, equip them with spiritual understanding, and test their faith for trustworthiness. Passing through this test requires a desire for growth, effective ministry, and the expansion of God's kingdom. Fear of failure, self-doubt, and avoiding failure can hinder success in the test of promotion. Studying and understanding this test is crucial for navigating challenges and frustrations in ministry.
