Enhancing Mental Health Services with New MHARS Program
The New Mental Health Acute Response Service (MHARS) introduces key changes like self-referral, crisis prevention, and enhanced home treatment for individuals aged 16 and above. Collaborations with various agencies aim to provide timely and effective support, ensuring the right services at the right time. The proposed model emphasizes rapid assessment, treatment in the least restrictive environment, and 24/7 response for urgent mental health needs.
