Enhancing international phytosanitary information exchange is crucial for promoting cooperation among National Plant Protection Organizations. The role of Regional Plant Protection Organizations (RPPOs) in coordinating activities and facilitating communication is key to achieving the objectives of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). Contracting parties are required to provide official information on NPPOs, pests, and phytosanitary measures, while the IPPC Secretariat plays a facilitation role by maintaining official documents and the IPPC website.
