One-on-One Consultations How to effectively integrate writing and writing instruction in courses across the disciplines Ways and means of devising effective syllabi, writing assignments, and activities Responding to student writing needs Grading criteria on assignments Workshops for graduate fellows

Writing Intensive Course Programs The purpose is to advance general education This is done at Departmental level Writing is put at the center of the academic experience and responsibility for the entire academic community By participating in production of the discipline discourse, students advance their understanding of the discipline WIC provide students with opportunities through targeted instruction
