Engaging Students in Engineering Through Online STEM Outreach
A student-led initiative called "I'm an Engineer, Get me out of here" aims to inspire school students by connecting them with engineers in a competition format. The project focuses on promoting STEM education, providing equitable opportunities, and enhancing outreach skills of engineers. With engaging activities and real-time interactions, the initiative aims to reach a wide audience and foster community collaboration.

I'm an Engineer, Get me out of here I'm an Engineer is a free online event where school students get to meet and interact with engineers. It s a free X Factor-style competition between engineers, where the students are the judges. Students challenge the engineers over fast-paced online live CHATs. Project aims To support students science capital to help them see science and engineering as something for them Reaches students aged 10 - 18 To provide greater equity for underserved students by prioritising and providing free to economically disadvantaged and distant schools To improve engineers outreach skills and confidence creating the opportunity for more continued outreach activity Shane McCracken | shane@mangorol.la
