Embracing Weakness: The Power of Vulnerability in Faith

When I Am Weak

2 Cor. 12:9-10, “But He (the Lord) said to me
(Paul), “My grace is sufficient for you, for my
power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of
my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ
may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ,
then, I am content with weaknesses, insults,
hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
For
when I am weak, then I am strong
.

When I Am Weak

So what did Paul mean by, “Boast all the
more gladly of my weaknesses?”
The importance of weakness in the
“faith-building” process
Weakness is essential: to remove
human strength and tap into
supernatural strength
Instead of fighting weakness, Paul
learned to embrace it

When I Am Weak

God deals with us according to our

Embracing weakness as a pathway to spiritual growth is highlighted through the teachings of Paul in 2 Corinthians. By boasting of weaknesses, one can tap into supernatural strength and allow the power of Christ to shine through. Vulnerability and faith intertwine, leading to a deeper understanding of God's plan for us.
