Our 2030 Vision
A time of re-imagining C-19 has caused great suffering, anxiety and changes to society and church life A time of mourning, suffering and sharing the compassion of Christ Forced change to church life going online, leadership through small groups, crisis response and collaboration It has not been easy Church giving and regular attendance has dropped We haven't always known who is following online services or their level of engagement Many have been exploring Christianity online Where do we go from here? See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? (Isaiah 43:19)

Our 2030 Vision Our 2030 Vision- - London responded London responded Last summer over 6,000 people responded to our listening campaign to discern our way towards 2030 Clear priorities emerged The ambitions are broad and still stand, despite Covid-19 But how we live and apply them has changed This is our vision

Becoming Safer Acts 2: 28 You have made known to me the paths of life We have not done enough to prevent or respond to past abuse We are sorry and must do better in: Promoting a safer culture Our responsibility to children and adults at risk Responding to every safeguarding concern or allegation Caring for victims/survivors of abuse Responding to those who may pose a present risk to others Question for discussion: What support do worshipping communities need in order to grow safer?
Striving for racial justice Acts2: 5 from every nation under heaven We are diverse, from many cultures and backgrounds, speaking over 250 different languages. We need to examine our theology, structures, and appointments, to see where we have colluded with racism We need to say sorry and make real changes We need to be a community where people from diverse cultural backgrounds can be visible and contribute at every level of leadership and governance Question for discussion: How can our worshipping communities grow more racially just?
