Organization is not responsible for intern housing

An internship is

EXPECTATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Eligible organizations must
be a registered 501(c)3, government entity, or established business with full-time, professional employees in Alamance County
no start-up companies or personal business
provide project-based internship position
provide 8-week long internship experience (student intern will work 20-30 hours per week)
Wednesday, June 1, 2022 – Wednesday, July 27, 2022
provide an assigned supervisor with expertise in the field
be a full-time employee of the organization and on-site during the intern’s work hours
take active role in the day-to-day work of the intern
provide remote or on-site internship
intern MUST be living in Alamance County for the duration of the internship
adhere to COVID guidelines and best practices to ensure the health and safety of all employees, interns, guests, and visitors
agree to allow intern to attend required leadership & professional development training

Complete and submit online application
Opens 9:00 AM, Monday, December 13, 2021
Closes 5:00 PM, Friday, January 21, 2022
Application selection and notification – February 4, 2022
Internship Position Description due in Elon Job Network by
12:00 noon on Friday, February 11, 2022
