Denver Housing Authority (DHA) is actively working towards improving the health and well-being of its residents. Current statistics show high rates of diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure among the residents. DHA is implementing various initiatives such as building active design features, providing health navigation services, coordinating educational programs on nutrition and fitness, and offering fitness programs like yoga and walking clubs. The focus is on promoting healthy living through education, support, and community engagement.
