  11. GALLERY WALK A gallery walk is a great way to get everyone s thoughts on something in a way that is low risk for those not comfortable to share out in front of everyone.   14. DELIVERING YOUR ACTIVITIES 1. Say what activity you re doing. 2. Give your directions in a clear and concise way. (2-3 directions at most!) 3. Ask someone to repeat the directions so you know everyone understands what they re about to do. 4. Put yourself in a spot where you can help people get started.   16. DEBRIEFING How do you know that the people in your workshop are learning what you want them to learn? At MLW, one of the many things we do is called debriefing asking questions that target what we want people to learn. Used with Pemission from Maryland Leadership Workshops, INC. 10/6/2024

  17. DEBRIEFING Each activity should end with debriefing questions. That s how you know people are understanding what you re trying to share! In your handouts, there are TONS of stems for debriefing question. The highest levels of learning happen in the more challenging stages.   19. PICK A THEME TO GO WITH YOUR WORKSHOP! Themes are a little extra flavor to make your workshop even more exciting! SIDE NOTE: Don t let your theme overpower your content, but have fun with it! Example: If you re doing a Parliamentary Procedure workshop, you could make it a live game of Candyland where delegates advance to different areas on a giant game board, just like in Candyland.
