Delivering Equity in Health: A Strategic Approach towards Addressing Inequalities
Taking a proactive stance in tackling health inequalities, this strategic approach, led by Lexi Ireland, aims to prioritize waiting lists, reduce DNA rates, poverty-proof services, and enhance accessibility and inclusivity in healthcare services. By gathering intelligence, analyzing data, defining problems, co-designing solutions, and implementing critical actions, the initiative focuses on addressing disparities in mental health, cancer screening, and detentions under the Mental Health Act, particularly among Black and Asian populations.
