During a war, a national headquarter of defence will be established (president of the Slovak Republic, head of the government of the Slovak Republic, deputy head of the national security council of the Slovak Republic). The national defence of the Slovak Republic is conducted in accordance with international agreements. 9

Governmental organs perform control and mobilisation exercises. Part of the preperation for national defence is an educational process in elementary and secondary schools.
