The Summary of Assessment Results is part of the 3-stage process presented in the DCF Implementation Toolkit (Assess,
Plan, Execute) that supports companies to achieve DCF sourcing. The toolkit includes the DCF Assessment Tool, the DCF
Implementation Plan and the DCF Technical References.
The DCF Implementation Toolkit is a step-by-step process to implement the Accountability Framework, provide best
practice on implementation and standardize activity within value chains. The DCF Implementation Toolkit is free,
standalone, provides practical steps on implementation and signposts to wider tools and frameworks.  It is currently
available for beef, leather and soy produced in the Amazon, Cerrado and Chaco biomes – with other commodities and
regions to follow.
The Accountability Framework Initiative (AFi) is an initiative to elaborate a common set of norms and guidelines for
companies to address deforestation, ecosystem conversion, and human rights violations.
Also, these resources were developed in alignment with the DCF Regional Guidance, which outlines important
considerations and recommendations for advancing DCF commitments for key regions of South America. As the AFi
documents, the DCF Regional Guidance should be consulted for more detailed recommendations.
The Summary of Assessment Results is part of the "Assess" stage and will support your company to move forward in
combating deforestation and conversion within your supply chain by providing a structure to present the Key Findings and
Recommendations coming from the DCF Assessment Tool.

  5. Introduction to the Summary of Assessment Results The Summary of Assessment Results is part of the 3-stage process presented in the DCF Implementation Toolkit (Assess, Plan, Execute) that supports companies to achieve DCF sourcing. The toolkit includes the DCF Assessment Tool, the DCF Implementation Plan and the DCF Technical References. The DCF Implementation Toolkit is a step-by-step process to implement the Accountability Framework, provide best practice on implementation and standardize activity within value chains. The DCF Implementation Toolkit is free, standalone, provides practical steps on implementation and signposts to wider tools and frameworks. It is currently available for beef, leather and soy produced in the Amazon, Cerrado and Chaco biomes with other commodities and regions to follow. The Accountability Framework Initiative (AFi) is an initiative to elaborate a common set of norms and guidelines for companies to address deforestation, ecosystem conversion, and human rights violations. Also, these resources were developed in alignment with the DCF Regional Guidance, which outlines important considerations and recommendations for advancing DCF commitments for key regions of South America. As the AFi documents, the DCF Regional Guidance should be consulted for more detailed recommendations. The Summary of Assessment Results is part of the "Assess" stage and will support your company to move forward in combating deforestation and conversion within your supply chain by providing a structure to present the Key Findings and Recommendations coming from the DCF Assessment Tool.
