  3. Values and beliefs that might be not effective 1. UNDERSTAND AND TEST SOME COMMON CULTURAL PRACTICES

  4. Old Practices to Be Updated Without physical punishments, children will not be useful adults. ( ) Support and praise will spoil children. One can never be good enough. Comparison is one of the best ways to inspire and encourage children. Parents/elders know best/most. Expressing emotions equals being weak or unrefined. ( Sharp tongue, tofu heart. ( )
