Crafting a successful promotional packet is crucial for faculty members seeking promotion at Michigan State University. This packet should include a current curriculum vita, reflective essay, scholarly work sample, and evidence of excellence in assigned duties. External review letters may also be beneficial. The review process involves committee recommendations at various levels. Rule #1 emphasizes the importance of communication with chair/director and mentor(s) throughout the process.
