  3. Food Love Story Challenge Do you know what a Food Love Story is? Tesco s Food Love Stories is a campaign about the food we love to make for the people we love. Inspired by stories of how people come together over food, the campaign sets out Tesco's food quality credentials and celebrates the passion and care that goes into the meals we all love. Take a look at some of our recent Food Love Stories here: https://www.tesco.com/zones/food-love-stories Find out more about our Food Love Stories here to help inspire you: https://realfood.tesco.com/food-love-stories.html

  4. Create your own Food Love Story You ve heard about Food Love Stories and how they re made, now it s your turn to make your own. Read all the steps below before starting! You will have to consider steps 1 and 2 together when planning. 1. Write a story and title This could be a story about your own Food Love Story, a special dish that someone makes for you or a special dish that you want to dedicate to someone. It could a family member, a friend or someone else you know. As you are in a group, make sure everyone is happy with the decision and story. Your title should start with your name, then include a nod to the story and finish with the dish name. For example, Carl and Mohammed s all change casserole. 2. Create a recipe and recipe card On a budget of no more than 6, your task is to create your very own Food Love Story dish. It can be either a main meal or a dessert try and make it healthy! This could be a recipe you already know or a new recipe you create. You could also explore recipes on Tesco.com/recipes for more inspiration. Why not think how you can make your dish healthier by introducing at least one portion of fruit/veg (in line with the Eatwell Plate guidance). You can use any store cupboard staples you have at home where necessary (e.g. salt, pepper, herbs, oil), these ingredients are not included in your 6 budget. 3. Take a picture of/draw: You and your dish . You should take a picture/draw of you/your group presenting your dish, in the style of Food Love Stories. Make sure you show the food clearly and give us a smile! Your dish For the recipe you ll also need a picture/drawing of just the food. This just needs to be a picture of the dish on a flat surface. If photographing, try out different angles to make sure the food looks great.

  5. Job roles and responsibilities You will undertake many different job roles whilst completing the Food Love Story Challenge. Your group will need to ensure at least one person is a: Copywriter writing the story and title Recipe developer cooking and creating your dish Designer creating the recipe card. Artist/photographer drawing/photographing you and your dish. Commercial lead budgeting/costing the dish. Think about all the skills you will be using, from planning and organising to creative thinking.

  6. Developing your own healthy Food Love Story on a budget Before you start to develop your Food Love Story, think about the following: Research the different Food Love Story recipes here at: https://www.tesco.com/zones/food-love-stories Research current recipe ideas and food trends What ingredients will you need? Write down your ideas Your own experiences and stories with food THINGS TO CONSIDER What the dish will look like? Cost of ingredients What will you call your dish? What s the story behind your dish?

  7. Optional: Film your Food Love Story Your challenge: Once you have the story, title, recipe and pictures you can choose to create a short video. Create the following materials, using the template to help you: 1. 2. A storyboard for your video A 20 second video to tell your story. You could also create a 2-3 minute video presentation describing your journey in creating your dish, which could be reviewed by your peers and/or members of staff. Good luck!
