  5. Define the following: a) Roasting- It is a method in which food items are cooked over open flame or using dry heat in an oven. b) Chullah- It is made of bricks or mud and wood, charcoal are used as its fuel.

  6. Answer the following questions- Q1- Can we use solar energy at night? Ans- We cannot use solar energy at night because sun is the source of energy for solar power.It is not available in night.

  7. Q2- Why should we never overcook food? Ans- We should never overcook food because it results in the loss of nutrients.

  8. Q3-Why should we use microwave ovens to cook food? Ans- Microwave ovens use electricity to cook food. Hence they are eco-friendly. Also they cook food quickly at high temperatures.
