  3. Definition Unitary government is a kind of government system in which a single power, which is known. as the central government, controls the whole government. In fact, all powers and. administrative divisions authorities lies at the central place.

  4. Blue countries are unitary and green countries are Federal countries

  5. Comparison Between Unitary and Federal Government 1. Number of government- a single Government in Unitary govt and Dual (2+) Govt in Federal States. 2.Written/Unwritten constitution In Unitary countries and in federal countries it is always Written. 3. Riged/Flexible Constitution in Unitary countries & Rigid Constitution in Federal states. 4. No Division of Powers In Unitary forms, Division of Powers Between Center & state in Federalism. 5.Suprimacy of Constitution /Monarch in unitary, In Federal country constitution is always supreme . 6. Judiciary may be Independent may not be (unitary) in federal countries Judiciary is independent. 7. most of the unitary states are Bicameral on the other hand the Unitary states may be or may not follow the system of Bicameral legislature.
