The cycle lanes will be intersected by the bus stops requiring cyclists to briefly merge with the carriageway if the buses are stopped there. This will help cyclists get up to speed and clear the junction ahead of the main traffic. It s quicker to walk than take the regular(u6) bus to town I don t cycle at the moment because it is too dangerous to cycle in most of the city.
