All things points! Requirement to be an active member is 3 points/semester You can earn points by volunteering at events! (Tours, panels, calling campaigns, etc.) Fill out the availability so you can be selected for these evets When you volunteer, YOU MUST SCAN THE QR CODE FOR ATTENDANCE TO RECEIVE YOUR POINTS Check your points at anytime at go.osu.edu/points Please allow for 1-2 weeks for your points to be added from the day you volunteered If you check your points and see a discrepancy between what you volunteered at and what the spreadsheet says, you can fill out the "Missed Points Form" that will go out in the Newsletter and will be sent in the GroupMe There will be a tiered reward system for points this year (i.e. everyone who earns X number of points gets this reward, and everyone who earns X+Y number of points gets this better reward)
More things points! If you select an event on the availability form and are then chosen for it, you will be notified via email. If something comes up and you are unable to make your event, please follow these steps: 1. Email engugambassadors@osu.edu and COPY meadows.241@osu.edu, shaikh.113@osu.edu, dejesus.63@buckeyemail.osu.edu, lippucci.3@buckeyemail.osu.edu, and bawa.23@buckeyemail.osu.edu that you are unable to make the event (with the event date and name listed). 2. Send a message in the GroupMe asking if anyone can cover your event. It is your responsibility to find coverage. 3. Follow up on this message is no one responds, and it is nearing the event date. Generally, LT will try to cover if no one else can. It helps to send the first message in the GroupMe as early as possible to give people time to see if they can cover. 4. If someone says they can cover, follow up on the email sent in #1 and state who is covering for you. If no one can cover your event and you do not show, you will receive 1 point. Emergencies will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis contact LT and Christine/Yusra if this happens. You will receive notification from the engugambassador email for any negative points
