  1. COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS INFORMATION NIGHT JANUARY 31, 2022

  2. CCPTIMELINE PHASE I Students must meet with their high school counselor and inform them of their intent to participate in CCP and complete the required Padua school counseling form between February 1 and March 23, 2022 (this is mandatory) Parents must create an OH|ID account between February 1 - April 1, 2022, at https://ohid.ohio.gov Parents must electronically declare their child s intent to participate in CCP through their OH|ID account anytime between February 1 - April 1, 2022. April 1, 2022, 5 p.m., is the absolute deadline for parents to submit a CCP application through their OH|ID account No extensions or late applications are accepted

CCPTIMELINE PHASE I - CONTINUED Students must go to the colleges website, look for their CCP Program, complete and submit application Students must fill out a Padua Transcript Request Form and give to their counselor Students must request (online) ACT scores be sent to the college directly from ACT company and/or take the placement tests at Tri-C for English and/or Math Wait for acceptance letter

  4. CCP TIMELINE PHASE II While waiting for the acceptance letter, students should consider the following: What classes to take through CCP? Explore college s course offerings and times of day (on college s website) How will CCP choices affect their Padua classes and class schedule? Once you receive admission letter: Parents must upload admission letter to the CCP Funding Application and submit application through the OH|ID account Make sure you click Submit After approximately 5 weeks, students will receive a funding award letter in their parent s OH|ID account, indicating the number of credit hours their student has been awarded Students should make an appointment with their Padua counselor: Have a good idea of what classes will be taken at Padua and at the college Complete/submit Authorization to Attend form and Pre-Approval for Outside Courses form with Padua Counselor

  5. CCP TIMELINE PHASE II CONTINUED Cuyahoga Community College Student receives email confirming Authorization to Attend form has been processed Schedule appointment with college counselor to select and register for courses (216-987-6000, option 4)

  6. CCP TIMELINE PHASE III Students must give a copy of their CCP schedule to their Padua counselor by May 20, 2022 Padua schedules are not completed until sometime in May. Once this happens, Padua counselors will attempt to merge the CCP schedule and Padua s courses Sometimes there are conflicts. This may necessitate a schedule change at the college, requiring a new Authorization to Attend Form Students should always check with their high school counselor to make sure their schedule is set (including both Padua and CCP classes) before the end of the school year in June 2022

  7. COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Students must meet all graduation requirements for Padua Franciscan High School Students are required to have their CCP transcript sent to Padua at the end of each semester that they participate in CCP. The college does not automatically send transcripts to the high school. There may be a fee for this. CCP grades will be added to the high school transcript and calculated in the high school GPA (after textbooks have been turned in to Padua and the college transcript has been received) Students are responsible for maintaining contact with their high school counselor regarding graduation requirements, commencement activities, scholarship opportunities, etc.

  8. COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS Students should see their Padua counselor with any questions regarding the College Credit Plus process as early as possible.
