expensive. Unlessyour parents areHedge FundManagersand they are paying,be sure you have got the P stoafford it. Fratton-This place is nota party placebut is really in your budget. This neighbourhoodis situated northof the railwayline, whichplacessomedistancebetween youand Southsea'snightlifeand campus. It is nota great area, however, this doesnotstop studentsfrom rentinghere as rentsare a lot cheaper. But you should notexpect what shere, as there is not much. You are a bus ride away from Gunwharf shopping center and the Uni or approximately a 20-40 mins walk to Uni depending on where you are. Old Portsmouth-This placeis notstudent-central, butit is a serene escape fromthe burden of studies.Take a trip throughtimeinto thehistoryof Portsmouth. There are a few if not any student houseshere dueto the locationand the remarkablebuildingsthat coverit. It is very near to the centre of town and the main Uni campus which is perfect for any student.
