The Commission's mission is to authorize high-quality public charter schools across the state, promoting educational excellence. Upholding principles of maintaining high standards, school autonomy, and protecting student interests, the Commission sets standards for agency commitment, application processes, decision-making, performance contracting, oversight, evaluation, and renewal decisions.
