Articulation for brass instrument is come from
the tongue, but the important of articulation is not a
tongue but is the air. When you play an articulation
you have to blowing the air and using the tongue to
cut the air.

The position of tonguing it’s cannot be tell where the position is
correct, because the position is can be move up to what kind of music you
play.

Single tonguing is using one tonguing make one note, and it is the
basic of all articulation, the performer should be practicing single tonguing
before another tonguing. The performer should be practice single tonguing
until the expertise until you can control the tongue freely.
On brass articulation is the same like your speaking accent, brass
instrument have tone marks articulation too is call “Syllable”, and it’s have
more syllable up to type of music.

Double tonguing, have to use when you have to a very fast tonguing,
that’s help you play easily, because using one tonguing for 2 notes.
