Forrester Park in Dunedin, home to healthy and well-mannered dogs, is facing challenges with parking restrictions, ground issues, and lease agreements imposed by the DCC. The park's management committee is reluctant to sign a long-term lease due to concerns over building integrity, potentially impacting dog sports/clubs in Otago. Strategic planning committees aim to address financial limitations and infrastructure maintenance to sustain the park's value and activities.
