The Enterprise Adviser program aims to empower advisers to understand, influence, and support schools in aligning curriculum with workforce needs, ultimately benefiting young people and improving the careers landscape.

  1. Information Classification: CONTROLLED EA Induction Review It is important to link business with education to ensure the careers and enterprise provision in school rapidly improves We want business to work with education to build a curriculum focussed on the skills needs in the work force.

Information Classification: CONTROLLED Our Vision for the Enterprise Adviser Induction Vision To ensure all Enterprise Advisers as a result of their induction experience, feel supported, empowered, ambitious and incentivised to take on their role. Objectives 1. All EAs understand the challenges young people face and are ambitious to change and improve the careers landscape. 2. All EAs know that they are valued, connected and have incentive to take on role. 3. All EAs are equipped to influence schools and know the impact of their work.

  3. Information Classification: CONTROLLED All Enterprise Advisers understand the challenges young people face and are ambitious to change and improve the careers landscape. Use of LMI data, dedicated discussion time with SLT and CL, and ongoing input from Hub. Meet with Head, SLT and Governor, review yearly Hub shares and translates LMI data Hub shares case studies of best practice and innovation EAs are connected to national EA network Given opportunity to network locally EAs take part in student focus groups CDP SEND, TIS, BM1, BM4 Tour of school, meet staff and students (prepare questions for students)

  4. Information Classification: CONTROLLED All Enterprise Advisers are equipped to influence schools and know the impact of their work. Foster mutual understanding between CL and EA.CL and SLT understand the business point of view, the role of the EA, and the work and motivations of their EA. Meet with CL outside of school EA gives CL a tour of their work/workplace CL hears, why I became and EA Hub gives training on Influencing SLT, BM1 & being data/impact driven EA mentor CLs in networking & basics i.e. setting email sig & LinkedIn. Hub empowers EAs to challenge schools (setting meeting dates and clear actions) Hub reports on impact

  5. Information Classification: CONTROLLED All Enterprise Advisers know that they are valued and have incentive to take on the role. Create a meeting point between CLs and EAs, to foster mutually beneficial relationship EAs are connected to national EA network EAs and CLs given time to find common goals EA away day Regularly linked with national and regional picture EA and CL have time to talk outside of school

  6. Information Classification: CONTROLLED Vision To ensure all Enterprise Advisors as a result of their induction experience, feel supported, empowered, ambitious and incentivised to take on their role. EMPOWERED TO INFLUENCE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING VALUED AND INSENTIVISED
