Return to CampusFall 2020 Covid-19 Guidelines for the Boise Bible College Community Goals Given the unknowns still ahead of us, flexibility and grace will be necessary for us moving forward: flexibility to morph and move as new knowledge comes to light and grace to think that guidelines and protocols are administered with the best of intentions. The cooperation, support, and attention of the BBC family are critical for success.

Face Coverings Masked in Motion whenever moving inside a building or when six-foot physical distance can t be maintained. Face coverings must cover nose and mouth. At the discretion of professors, masks may be removed once a students are seated with suitable physical distance.

Physical Distancing Physical distancing of at least six feet in all possible situations. Classrooms and other campus seating have been reconfigured to allow for six-foot separation. Clear barriers have been installed in classrooms, cafeteria, library, student center, and other places where reconfiguration is not practical. Face coverings required when six-foot separation cannot be maintained.

Hand and Surface Hygiene Additional hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout campus. Students are encouraged to wash or sanitize hands frequently (if possible, hourly) and upon entering or exiting any building. Cleaning supply baskets have been installed in classrooms, public spaces, and dorm common areas to facilitate sanitization of these areas before and after use.

Monitoring Symptoms Semester Startup: Students from out-of-state were encouraged to self-quarantine for 14 days at home before dormitory move-in (resident students) or registration (commuter students). All students were required to submit a 10-day temperature and symptom log before dorm move-in or registration. Limited guests at dorm move-in and no overnight guests in dorms before 9/7.

Monitoring Symptoms Temperature Checks: Daily: Resident students before entering the cafeteria. Weekly: Commuter students before entering Tuesday chapel services. As needed: Resident students upon return from any night spent off-campus.

Monitoring Symptoms Quarantine Procedures: Possible Covid-19 symptoms are to be reported to designated college officials. Quarantine either in a dorm room designated for isolation or at home for a temperature of 100.4 F or greater. Dorm suites will be quarantined if two (out of a maximum three) residents exhibit Covid-19 symptoms. Remote learning available for students in isolation due to Covid-19 symptoms.
